Well well. Hudd goes. Livermore on loan. Parker to QPR/Fulham and now this -

Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Roma directors Mauro Baldissoni and Walter Sabatini met with Tottenham counterpart Franco Baldini in London on Wednesday to discuss signing of Pablo Osvaldo and Erik Lamela. Southampton are understood to also be in talks over Osvaldo.

If Bale stays, and these all turn up...

Problem is no one in Europe wants him:p. Unless Real come in at the end of the window and say heres £30mill we will take him but i think they are concentrating on trying to get Bale.

TBH with the way we have played pre-season I have got doubts that we will even get that if we lose Bale. For the last couple of seasons I have gone into them with real optimism but for some reason, and I don't know why, I fear that we're going to go back to the old way we used to play with a frail defence and no backbone.

I admire the boss going out there and actually putting the money up for the signings we have made, I just hope that they repay him :)

Never said it was true? So can't tell if ya being a sarcastic git towards me or not lol. Anyway lets face it anything relating to Suarez could easily be true he doesn't know himself what he wants it seems

It definitely is, yes, more so than we have ever had if I'm honest, I just have a feeling that this season is going to go pear-shaped and I can't explain why, maybe it's the fear of Sandro getting injured again but then again we do have a bit more capable cover this time around if that does happen.

Once the transfer window is closed and we know the whereabouts of Mr Bale then my views could well have changed as I do have every confidence in AVB and his tactical ability as I feel he did learn quite quickly after the first couple of games last year.

Its more the fact you're saying get rid after that when really it could just be made up, I'd rather just ignore whats happening if hes sold abroad or not good, at least he isn't going to the trophy dodgers

I wasn't meaning get rid due to that specific quote which as you said could be false I was meaning cause of this whole situation with him. Anyway if he stays long as he plays well and puts in full effort then I won't complain
