Summer Transfer Window 25/26 *Sponsored by Bigpig*

Possibly, I guess only Slot knows...a lot of people talking about Rodrygo but I'm not sure I want him tbh, theres just something about him which puts me off..I just feel like he's not someone who brings harmony to a dressing room. I'm not keen on players who might be prone to rock the boat and something about him gives boatrocker vibes to me when things arent going his way.

You do want him, he'd be a brilliant signing.

Whilst I have absolutely nothing against Newcastle whatsoever, and in fact generally dislike the other top clubs far more, I am finding them missing out on player after player quite humourous.

I realise it's a symptom of going after the best players out there, and there's no reason why you shouldn't be ambitious, but them bidding £25m for Wissa whilst simultaneously valuing Isak at over £100m more than that - despite them scoring the same amount of non-penalty goals last season - seems somewhat an unbalanced transfer strategy.

All these goal scorers being signed by liverpool - I can see Salah having a hissy fit next season.
I pondered this during a discussion with a friend yesterday. The conclusion I came to is that 2 or 3 years ago I think Salah absolutely would have had a fit about it but that now, he wont. Salah isnt dumb, I think he is aware that he may never again have a season like last year, he will be aware that the clock is definitely against him now and that he is winding down his career rather than rising up in his career. I think he will now see himself more as an elder statesman of the team, more of a leader (wouldnt be at all surprised if he is named as Trents replacement as Vice Captain) and I wouldnt be at all surprised if we actually see more assists than goals from him this season. I think his role within the side will evolve over the last seasons of his contract and he'll take on the mantle of bedding in the next era of Liverpools frontline.

I think Robbo is the new vice captain, spotted something yesterday online about it but not sure if it was 100% official or not.

You’ve conveniently missed out the part where he’s told the club he wants to explore other options.
wheres the official source for that? its based on a tweet from an unofficial source? one that relies on farming clicks and use engagement what a great rage bait this is.

ofcourse it must be true.

not the point I am making though, again social media is brought up, whether or not other players have had to do it isnt the point, the point is, if the player doesnt want to leave, all he has to do to stop all the speculation is openly say "I dont want to leave"...thats it...all speculation then ends. If Isak truly doesnt want to go, he just says that. Finito. I see no reason why someone who wants to stay wouldnt just say they want to stay, but I see a very obvious reason why someone who doesnt want to stay wouldnt say they want to stay.

your assuming he reads social media or cares what appears on there.

also he wanted abetter contract last year? its great bargaining power for him even if he wants to stay.
which we don;t know whether he does or not.. unless we are supposed to trust a twitter source... as said.. farming clicks for income as a living.

These twitter accounts aren;t living in isaks head, yet they presume to tell us what he's thinking and people just take it as gospel....

none of these soureces ever been wrong in the past right...

remember the old meme

lets face it everyones just rage baiting each other and no one in their right mind knows what the real situation is.

Apart from evey single journo saying so?
and there sources are twitter posts not official statements or insider info from isak or his agent.

Mail Sport’s Craig Hope broke the news that Isak is willing to explore a move elsewhere, with the forward having been left off their tour of the Far East.

the all knowing craig hope footballer journalist and failed youtuber... one of the least popular channels for nufc news for some reason.

everything is speculation based on him not travelling when the team when it's known he has or is recovering from an injury. as said likely the same injury that was him awol in a lot of games last season.

why would anyone want to risk him with friendlies if theres still doubts or niggles, apparently he had a scan that came back clear.

they wouldn't be looking if there wasnt something going on still

It’s okay if you can’t read between the lines and need explicit statements on everything in life.

It’s obvious this isn’t just some internet rumour spread by Liverpool fans on social media, but you do you I guess.

Do you really think Newcastle or Isak/his agent are going to put out an official statement stating he wants away?

if he really wants to leave and they wont permit it then yes.

you really think hes refusing to play games instead? or refusing to train with the first team apart from hall?

He hasn't gone with the team for pre-season. That would suggest it's a little more than Twitter speculation

Then you don’t understand how this works.

Yes, that’s what footballers do when they’re trying to get the club to consider a sale. If it was just those things alone then fair enough, but when it’s those things alongside reputable journos stating he’s asked the club if he can explore his options then it’s very telling.

These situations are very rarely black and white (I’ll get my coat).

He has an injury.. Bruno even confirmed that and said he knows the situation and they isak isnt with them... because of an injury

someone were asking him stupid questions
"we all know the situation behind him" remember his first language isn't English..

HE clearly means "I know the truth of why Isak is not here" and thats because he is injured still. its not because he wants to leave and downed tools...

how ridiculous to be asking players about their team mates anyway.. its like they trying to stir up trouble for a story. hope they get banned from NUFC access

next people are gonna claim isak wants to leave cos his house got robbed twice... they arrested the people who did it and they weren't NUFC fans.. they were Bulgarians or something who tour the country burgling footballers

maybe he really needs the money though... might be why he goes to a barbers in one of the most dfeprived areas of newcastle, he's broke as hell
Must be a tenner a cut there, I know across the road is.

Ah i didn't know that. Fair enough. I assumed it was due to the transfer speculation
He doesn't have an injury. Scans show nothing. Also worth noting that Hall travelled with the team and he does.

Very reminiscent of Coutinho's back injury when he was forcing a move to barca
