Am I the only one paining for Winter to end and Summer begin, I am sick to the back teeth of Winter now, cold, windy, dark, boring.

Nothing happens in Winter, Summer people are out till late, having chats BBQs, beers, winter its like a different planet, today it was sunny then hail stoned it down and it froze.

Not long now but no England in Euro 2008 so Summer will not be that great.

I remember posting this 18 months ago.

I have to agree here, cant wait for Summer.

Only thing I like about Winter is when it rains I love the sound of it on my window, sends me to sleep :rolleyes:
 
cant wait either, get a silly temp job part time and be with my mates over summer, daytrips, camping, all dayers etc :)
 
tbh i hate summer, it simply gets too hot on some days, although living in the hotest part of england doesnt help me at all, but still, its just too damn hot!.

I used to love winter, but now it doesnt realy snow, so imo, all seasons in the UK are rubish.
 
Everything is great when summer comes around but then you realise why you actually wanted it to end last year, even with just a thin sheet, the ceiling fan on and the window wide open i find it too hot to sleep

I actually prefer winter, i feel too hot most of the time in winter too, just less hot
 
its just something to put up with.. BBQs etc easily offset the heat on a night.. wear yourself out during the day and sleep time wont be a problem :)
 
I always have that that 'Grass is greener' feeling whichever season it is. Especially after Christmas and after the school holidays. Not that I go to school but due to my children this is when I take my holidays.

so for now roll on summer. It's freezing on a morning.
 
i do miss summer BBQs, now why the hell don't i have them in winter?

Thats it, winter BBQs for my family next year,

"shut up, wear a coat and eat that cold burger!" "get in that pool, I didn't buy it for nothing!" :D
 
I'm just glad the evenings are drawing out a little now. My main problem with the winter is that it's dark by four o'clock - if you're studying or at work it feels like you never see daylight.
 
omg yes, this winter has been so bad its unbelievable can't wait for summer and the predictably warm weather. mmm t-shirts

Are you joking? It will be absolutely brilliant. The ability to quietely relax in a bar with friends without a bunch of screaming ENG-ER-LAND fans running around everywhere, the ability to drive down the road without seeing countless old Corsas and Vectras covered in flags, the ability to read a newspaper without wading through pages of boring football first.

England not making it to Euro 2008 is the best thing about this Summer so far :D
 
Winter's only miserable because it's not really a proper Winter, far too warm and wet - Just like our Summers. We should have weeks of sub-zero temperatures and feet of snow, that would be a proper Winter, these half-arsed attempts at Season's we get now are the problem and that's why everyone is miserable.
 
It's going to be **** for football due to not qualifying for Euro 2008 but this is the first summer where I'll actually be working most of it instead of being in education and having half of it off :(.

Getting old sucks.
 
Summer sucks. ****ing ****s.

If you want warm weather go live somewhere warm and stop wishing the nice weather away.
