Summer

Winter sucks donkey and monkey balls in equal measure, summer is OK, but mild is where it's at for me.
 
Was thinking this just this morning - finally I can walk to work in the light and leave in the light, working indoors all week the 2 days of natural light a week is bloody miserable.

Mind you, I hope that the relatively good weather we've had so far this year isn't the summer! Even had our first BBQ of the year at the end of January :D

Bring on the nice hot weather, the girls rising skirtlines and dropping necklines and a long, sunny and warm BBQ season :D
 
Though actually, it's not so much summer that's the main thing, best thing is though it's dry :cool:

Sun + hot = :cool:
Sun + cold = :cool:
Sun + snow = :cool:
.... + rain = :(
 
Can't wait for summer either, going to get massive supply's of Strongbow,Vodka, Desperado's, and Koppaberg for the oh so famous BBQ's.
 
I like summer, in fact I love summer.

Get back from work on a Friday, open windows, shorts and T-shirt, Beer (San Miguel), The best of Gipsy Kings on, nachos and dips, AWESOME.

I also love bank holidays in the summer, out in the sun drinking with friends, listening to live music that is usually on. I LOVE IT.

But I don't like it being TOO hot. A nice breeze is good. I hate winter, but I do like it when it is really windy and heavy rain and I am tucked up in bed.

Snow sucks, sun sucks, rain rocks! It keeps everything cool!
 
I've been sat infront of a computer non-stop since September, i'm beginning to look see-through I swear. Only 7/8 weeks before I hand in my dissertation and then hopefully the weather will perk up for the 4 months or so I have off. I'm hoping to resurect my golf career this summer so having nice weather would spur me on a bit more :)
 
Love summer mainly because of the hot long days were I basically do something but chill out with a couple of beers.

Hopefully will be nice this year as I've got a few camping trips planned.
 
I'm with Gilly.
Autumn is by far the best time of year - temperature is just right, very little sun and no snow. Summer is uncomfortable and sticky and snow is just annoying.

I'm not looking forward to another summer of working in full PPE (coveralls, hard hat, safety boots, gloves etc.) in temperatures of 35C and over :(
 
Bah, it never gets warm enough in the UK for my liking :cool:

I love it hot, doesn't bother me, I don't mind rain either.

TO be honest I like Englands weather, if you don't like, wait till later on in the day, it will probably have changed... :D

At least as Fox said, the papers won't have sodding football in. (as much)
