Please can someone advise whether it is possible to opt out of working on a Sunday if you don't work in a shop?
My employer is introducing a new contract requiring me to start working Sundays, there's been a fair bit of backlash and one of the rumours going around is that one can simply refuse to agree to the introduction of coming in on Sundays.
Now all the stuff on the gov and citezens advice website relates specifically to shop workers working on a Sunday and we're not in a shop, we're in a call centre.
Does the Sunday opt out ONLY apply if you work in a shop?
