Do you always have a roast on a sunday?

We don't always, but I would say 3 out of 4 Sundays we do.

Curious as to whether you do?

Maybe once a month.

My girlfriend and I have a good range of dishes we like cooking at the weekend so it's pretty easy to rotate them throughout the month.

I would say about 3 out of 4 Sundays as well, although today is the first time I have actually made one in a long while.
There are a load of good restaurants, pubs and farm shops in the area that do great roasts and so we often go out with friends for a couple of drinks and a meal and to catch up.

I have never made a roast. On a Sunday or otherwise. I normally work Sundays anyway so I wouldn't be around to eat it but it just seems like a lot to go to for a fair bit of waste with only the two of us.

For our Sunday dinner tonight since I'm off we're having a pot noodle! Being a chef, I probably should be more extravagant but hey... :D

We would have had a roast today, but somebody (me) forgot to get the chicken out of the freezer in time, so its fish fingers and oven chips because we haven't got anything else in, and of course, it is a Sunday so its too late to go and get something else!

I work shifts, 6 on 3 off, so i dont get that many Sundays off but we tend to do somthing nice when im off, maybe 3/4 Sundays off will be a roast

Going out for a roast is easier and can be cheaper, but a pub roast is never as nice as doing your own!

Nope. I have roast thighs, sweet potato and veg with grave every night. Sunday is my cheat day, so, for example, today is home made pizza instead :)

3 out of 4 is about right for us too. Today we did a massive shoulder of pork, slow cooked until the meat reaches 100 degrees C, at which point it can be 'pulled'. Ate about a quarter of it and the rest is going into the freezer for another day. £8 (can't remember the weight but it was biiiig) and fantastic value for the number of meals it provides.

Rarely. The potatoes here are sack. Can't get a good Maris Piper, mainly waxy ones and you need a good potato for a roast.

Yesterday we had lasagna. Was nice. Now I wish I had a roast. Beef. Or Pork.

Once in a decade, if I can be bothered.

So, no is the answer. There's more chance of snow on Christmas Day than a roast on Sunday.

Every week, almost without exception. Usually chicken or beef, with a nice leg of lamb for special occasions. Even in the summer we'll roast a chicken and some potatoes and have it outside with a nice crisp salad.

I tend to get home late in the week so the weekend is the only time we get to sit down as a family and eat a meal. Saturday night is usually homemade pizza night, or something hearty like lasagne or a good stew, and Sunday is a roast.

Probably 2 out of 4 Sundays for us. We do our weekly shop on a Sunday so it's easy for us to decide then and there if we would like one or not. My misses favourite is Chicken, mine is pork so we mix it up between the two!

Pretty rarely, we're normally busy. Is nice when we get the chance but I think it'd lose some of it's charm if we did it all the time.

I am talking about roast dinners.

Maybe a chicken once a month. We generally don't have all the official trimmings, and just prefer a couple of nice salads and fresh bread.

Did an organic chicken yesterday, and the leftovers will do packed lunches for us both for a couple of days.

In truth I am trying to cut down on meat, and only have it twice / three times a week.

I try to avoid traditional sunday lunch as much as I can to be honest, never a fan.

I'll have it every so often but I don't like eating chicken unless its in a sauce, dry chicken in one of my fears!!
