Sunglasses

No doubt. Break 'em or lose 'em. Just get a £2.50 pair at the local petrol station. Nobody really cares what kind of glasses a person wears anyway. ;)

Pfft...

Wear aviators and girls will swarm you, knickers round their ankles and beg you, BEG YOU, to jump on.

I've got prescription raybans which I get from my optician, as I need them for driving in the bright sunshine.

Consequently I get ripped off and paid about 200quid when I got the last pair. Nice sunglasses though, very comfortable and seem pretty well put together.

argh!

been trolling through a million sites trying to find something similiar to my olde ones (they must be about 5-6 years old now).

I got this pair from M&S years ago and they have been the most comfy pair I have ever owned.

trying to find a match is impossible.

they are wrap arounds, mirrored with no annoying pointy nose bridge.
they are sorta soft rubber coated - really nice to wear.

sadkly they have a big bed scratch on them now so I need a replacement.

I do like Oakleys, but they are stupidly priced.........even so I just know I will buy some one day. :p

In the mean time however another vote for Next, depends what you want but they are nice and cheap, I like em.

It all depends on your requirements. Normally you can pick up a pair for £20 in boots that look just as good as designer ones (which lets face it, ARE a rip off given the cost of the materials used). I dont think its really worth investing much more unless you plan to wear them a lot. I only got expensive ones myself because I detached my retina and had to have my pupil dilated for a month.
How does one accidentally detach a retina?

Edit: Ah, forget it. I should read the thread before I post.

Oakleys. If you value your eyes don't buy cheap sunglasses. My mum hates spending money and even she agreed that the vision quality from my Oakleys was a bajillion times better than her 2 quid market Gucci knock-offs.

got 2 pairs of oakleys some juliets which are amazing but a bit pricey and some half jackets which are brilliant for sport as a bought an array so ive got 3 sets of lenses. the quality is so good with oakley lenses i even have oakely reading glasses. would recommend them anyday

Im about to buy some Oakleys.... would anyone trust buying them off eBay in USA or could someone post a USA site that will ship to the UK? (The price difference is quite interestnig)

USA are not aloud by contract to Oakley to ship them out of the US, not your fault if they do but they are at risk.

I did a few years ago from one of the eBay shops. I had to convince the guy that I hadn't hijacked someone PayPal account. Must admit I was very impressed with them and the service. Feedback rating was excellent which assured me they were not some expensive fakes
