Got me a laptop, run power out the window and connected to the wireless. Now sat in the garden, so who else is working outside in the sun ? :cool:

There is no sun here. Only grey cloud, a white office ceiling and an over-zealous air conditioning unit.

I can never see any lcd device, PSP, Laptop etc. in the sun.

Just biked it from college, its uber warm, going to light the BBQ at 5

My laptop hates the sun. It's got a glossy screen, which is great indoors, but outside it's like looking at a mirror. :/

I chose the matte version of mine precisely for this reason!

They had both the matte and Glossy versions of the MBP side-by-side in the Apple store and whilst the Glossy is shiny :cool:

it's rubbish outdoors and has less accurate color reproduction so matte it was!

Just moved the bench 5m closer to the building and my wifi speed has quadrupled

I found exactly the same!

Polarized Oakleys + Matte MBP and I could see it perfectly fine in California out in the sun :cool:
