Bit late, but to answer the question, I'd say yes. I don't remember ever playing the multiplayer TBH. The single player story is great fun, kind of a Mash-up of a Tony Hawk Pro Skater game and a third-person FPS like Gears.

As long it's not like Jet Set Radio movement, for some reason I could not get a handle on that game even though it seemed fun.
Just kept missing grinds and bumping into things.
