what on earth did you do to that xantia ROFL

Set the height corrector in the car to 'High' and up it goes :)

It'll slam itself right onto the deck penski style as well but I never got a pic :(

Useful for getting through floods and things. Also pop it right up, slide an axle stand under, lower it down, wheels lift off the ground :)

do they all do that? whats it for?

Arhh it's been a long-time thing with the larger Citroens (and the BX) that they had hydractive/hydrolic suspensions. It's supposed to make the ride very smooth yet still retain the ability to tighten up in the corners and lower at high speeds on motorways etc to reduce drag and improve fuel economy. I was never very impressed, my C5 had some issues with it's rear suspension spheres, very annoying clonks every time I drove around a bend was annoying. Although not a fault as such, the floatey disconnected feeling when going over a rough surface fast was another thing I didn't like and it's ability to prevent body role in the corners and when changing direction quickly over undulating surfaces was laughable really ...it was good on the motorway though and very good at ironing out those annoying expansion joints you get on raised sections. All in all though I found the Pug 406 a much better drive with the same engine and nromal suspension.

Clearly not yank cars with UK plates ;) ;)

I had a good look around these cars at Classic and Modified this year, too cool for words, especially the mercs. The one in the background in those pics what my fav one I think, really nice. :D
