SupCom: Forged Alliance framerate issue

Never found FA(or SC) to be too bad on the fps side of things. Only problems i had was when there was too much going on and my cpu couldnt cope (thus graphics speed drop along with all the other threads that the game uses).

I remember running SC with 2 monitors (crappy 14" ones) with a 7300 and getting decent framerate on med settings lol. My cpu (slow amd dualcore) couldnt cope with more then 2 AI's at that point tho, the last battle for the campain was a nightmare :p

ATM i can run it games on 40x40 maps with 7 AI's (4 easy, 3 hardest setting). By the time the game progress's to the point it should stressed all the weak AI's have being killed off so system still cope quite quickly with the action lol.

Oh and if you can get the 3rd party AI (forgot the name), it takes less cpu/ram power and they are a bit harder to fight :), just wish i could get that AI to work correctly on 2008 server :(.

Sorian made it. He's working on new FA variants at the moment. They're a *lot* harder, for a start they attack intelligently (transport drops at undefended points, aggressive expansion\firebases etc). It launches nukes at anything that isn't covered by SMD as well.
