Ahhh Bomberman!!! Brought back my memory of game Dyna Blaster on my Amiga A1200 linked to my college mate Amiga A500+ to competed my 3 friends used 4 joysticks.
How dare you called Amiga version is a rip off!
Bomberman developer Hudson Soft owned the game design and brand name.
The Amiga version was released in 1992, the game was published as Bomberman for Japan and USA market but it is very oddly Hudson Soft decided to changed Bomberman name to Dyna Blaster for the European market.
To this day I still got no idea why Hudson Soft changed game name to Dyna Blaster for Europe.
Never played Bomberman on the Nintendo yonks ago, but I did enjoy the variation/rip off we got on the Amiga...can't recall the name of it though, Atomic Bombers?

Bomberman on the PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 was created by most of the same team that would work on several projects such as later entries in the Bomberman series at Hudson Soft, with Tsukasa Kuwahara acting as sole designer.[3] Atsuo Nagata and Yūji Muroya served as co-programmers, while Hideyuki Ogura and Mika Sasaki created the pixel art.[3] The soundtrack was composed by Jun Chikuma, with Keita Hoshi also collaborating in its development at sound programmer.[3] The game was first published in Japan by Hudson Soft on 7 December 1990 and later in North America by NEC in 1991.[4][citation needed] In Europe, Dyna Blaster was the name given to the European versions of Bomberman that came out in 1991. It's a replacement name that lacks the snap of the original.
