Hi.

My system is as follows:

Ryzen 1600
ASrock B350 Matx MOBO
GTX 1060 6GB
16GB DDR 3000Mhz RAM.
250GB SSD
1TB HD
Wifi PCI-E Card
DVD Drive
Two Fans.

Do you think the Super Flower Golden Green HX 350W is sufficient to power this system? I currently have a FSP Group 500w unit. The Cooler Master PSU calculator says the load watt is 302W and recommended PSU wattage is 352w.

Depending on if that card is factory overclocked maximum power draw would be up to 250W
So 350W is enough.

But Golden Green HX is pretty much second tier PSUs.
With for cooling horribly located secondary capacitors sandwhiched between 12V rectifier heatsink (which heats when under load) and 3,3/5V daughterboard:

Super Flower must be counting on those PSUs being used in web surfing/word processing PCs to dare to give 5 year warranty.
That placing would be demanding for even quality capacitors, electrolytic caps just simply don't like heat.

I've decided to upgrade. Which one should I get out of these two?

Super Flower Platinum King 550W 80 Plus Platinum Power Supply - Black
or
BitFenix Formula Series 450W 80 Plus Gold Power Supply

Both the same price. I'm edging towards the formula.
