Run a few 5090 FE's at full pelt and you get your RAM baked for free!

That's a relatively small footprint for that wattage being only (W x H x D): 150 mm x 85 mm x 200mm. Shame about the fan sounding like a jet engine under load though. If ever there was a case for a water cooled psu this is it!!

Wouldn't that bring the PSU awfully close to the UK outlet standard limit though? It on its own won't be enough, but if you have other devices on the same ring circuit at the time, wouldn't that potentially trip it?

Also, I doubt many would be running 2 x 5090's given that's well into AI generation stuff at that point, and the price of 2 x 5090 is probably not too far off from an nVidia RTX Pro 6000 with 48GB or for a bit more a 96GB VRAM card which will do a better job than the 5090's.

2800 watts is a little iffy for an IEC 13 plug. Almost as dodgy as running 550 watt cards from 12VHP connectors.

Yes, mine's powering a 7900XT, so, similar power draw doesn't break a sweat
