Super King Size Quilt

After years of putting up with the Mrs nicking the quilt I've decided it's time to get a Super King Size one (it's cheaper than divorce ). Has anyone bought one recently they can recommend? I don't mind splashing the cash on a good one either.

Costs a fortune for something nice, we have a super king size goose down with anti allergy stuff and Egyptian cotton covers and sheets, worth every penny though.

Bought ours from eBay, just pick a budget and choose the type you want, your not paying massive store overheads and they are all basically the same.

I think I actually got my duck down one from argos, dunelm do them too. Or you could try the bay. All comes down to tog, inners and allergys etc

In Germany, couples sometimes have a double bed with two single duvets, that way they aways have a cover to themselves.
Funny how some countries do things in entirely different ways

My folks now do this, after my old man lost it one evening and "divided" their king size in 2 with a large pair of scissors...
It also means he can have a summer weight duvet, whilst the old trout keeps her 14tog,even in 30 degree heat...

I went to a hotel in Copenhagen where they had the same double-duvet system. Best night's sleep I've ever had and I will be stealing the idea shortly.

We've not been disappointed with any of the John Lewis own brand that we've bought. Tended to go more for the goose down ones as we've aged! Note that the more down in them, the warmer they are even for their tog rating.
