Ouch, that ruins many memories for me. Whoever did the flash programming for that needs to sort out the ridiculously unresponsive controls.

It seems really slow to me, I remember the original being much better. Perhaps its something on my system that needs fixing.

Super Mario was much fater.
The original Mario was as responsive as this one. Perhaps the creator should rename to just "Mario".

Still though, brings a tear to my eye

The original probably was much better - relative to what was around at the time. Now you have tried new stuff on the new consoles any old stuff seems, well, old.

I'm sure there are better ways to relive Mario's past glories.

Nice peice of flash programming though. I've been meaning to do something similar for a few years myself (albeit in directdraw or something).
