Hi there,

I am trying to test my Dual Core CPU on Super PI.

I am running 2 instances obviously. I have set the affinity of one core to one instance and the other to the other.

I can run the first one fine (which ever is started first). But when i try the next one i get this error: "Not Convergent in SQR05".

Does this mean the system is not stable?

Thanks.

I think you have each superpi instance from seperate duplicate folders.

If you really want to test your CPU download a copy of Orthos, that'll run Prime95 on each core and really test your system.

Shouldn't the HT Link be something like 1000?

Everything you need is incuded in the Orthos download apart from a temp monitor, just unzip and click on the orthos.exe. Orthos will stress you cpu very high so keep an eye on your cpu temperature.

You have correctly set your HT link speed to x3(BUSx3=HT link). It should be as close to 1000 as possible, going over 1000 can cause problems.
