Really like the For Glory mode!. It does seem strange that they'd lock it to FD, but you can always play custom player matches on other stages and just turn off items I guess.
Besides, when I played Brawl online, 90% of the time we'd play on FD anyway . Perhaps they are balancing the game for that stage size too.

Bit disappointed on Winter date for Wii U version, but prior to the Direct announcement, a near winter release was kind of expected.

It seems like the 3DS version may be tailored more for the new Smash player(hence that new 3DS exclusive 'jump in' game mode for example) and that the Wii U version will be aimed more at seasoned and traditional smash players which hopefully explains the release gap somewhat - they want to get it right and perhaps fine tune the online features and performance/netcode for example.

Yeah, FD is a good stage but it favours some characters such as Marth. I loved playing Marth at FD on Project M

I'll probably get the 3DS version when its released for a bit of fun and then actually get into it when the Wii U version is released.

So release the version first that they know will sell the best.. Nintendo's release schedule for this year is diabolical, they release Donkey Kong in Feb, Mario Kart in May and then nothing till like December? How can they only release 3 games for the system in an entire year?

Bayonetta 2 and Hyrule Warriors should be out in that timeframe. Should be, I'd at least expect Bayonetta 2 to make it.

Its just a different skin on FD so its the same stage just makes it look different.
