Well another year has passed and after 15 pub lunches by the Kent crew that 3 people seem to go to, a proper meet is scheduled :D Hopefully it won't rain for this one....

Super Southern Meet XI

Date - 6th August 2016
Time - 11am Prompt

Location - Holiday Inn, Winchester, SO21 1HZ. Just off Jct 9 of the M3.

Itinerary Files. If anyone can post one or assist as I no longer have a means to create them.

Plans

You all know the score by now, the meet will be the same as normal. Go for a spirited drive to the pub, have some grub. Probably head off to another area, then take pictures, beep horns, Passenger rides, the usual sort of thing that happens at these things.

Any discussion is welcome in this thread and I can add convoy lists nearer to the date.

So put your name down for this amazing (not guaranteed as it'll probably rain like usual)day out, but please provide your car as I don't know what half of you drive unless you drive a Porsche.

That's a shame. I've had a wedding booked for the 6th for months.

You had plenty of chance to tell me, I asked if people could make this in the splinter.

I should be good for this, it'll give the Alfa a trial run before going to France the following week :p

Alfa GTV

e: Why does it say XI in the title but X in the thread?

Because it's the laziest ever OP being copied and pasted directly from the previous meet thread, which was copied from the previous one, rinse and repeat this at least 5 more times :D

As organiser and the fact that everytime they come round at work I have missed out on the past 5 occasions I am shotgunning the nutella one. If it goes before I get it, I will just go home.

Wheel spin demo was enough, had to calm down after.

Please no stupidity like this in the car parks. Especially at the pub. I have good comms with them and like to go back in future if you have a good one. If you want to be an arse on the road do it away from others :D But at the meet areas where we congregate behave.

Right then Pub.

I'm looking at the Hampshire Bowman again as it has a big parking space etc. The only issue I have is with food waiting times. They've suggested that if we get there for 12 then the wait will be much shorter, or if people wanted sandwiches they could be pre prepared to some extent. So I will be going for this one unless anyone has otherwise, but it will mean a hasty exit from the Holiday Inn no later than 11:15.
