Well, Seattle had their chances and didn't take them. Indiscipline has cost them big time!

Indeed they had a few calls go against them, still dont think the first steeler td should have stood but such is life.
Seahawks could and really should have won this game but their tendency to commit penalties is what truly killed them. They needed to be much more disciplined, other than 2 penalties that i thought were harsh...i dont think any of the other penalties were given in error....you dont win the superbowl on penalties...in fact u dont win any or many games with lots of penalties...

Also the fact they dropped so many catches is what cost them as well, must have been nerves but they were dropping easy catches.

I agree with Spawn. Some awful playcalls cost Seattle the game. The poor clock management at the end of the first half and then the stupid playcall not to kick the field goal on 2nd down at the end left Hasselbeck looking like a lost child.

I think for me a lot of things were down to the Seahawk's inexperience. IIRC they had no players on the 45 man squad who'd played in the Superbowl before and you could really tell. If it had been Brady out there at the end of the second half he'd have called a timeout himself when he realised the clock was running down too fast, and a more experienced QB would have tried to force it in on the last Seahawks drive - you saw Holdgren give the call to Hasselbeck of 'You call it - it's your shot' on the final drive, and he chose an out route that didn't even get out of bounds, in that situation a more experienced QB would have either tried a bootleg, trick play or endzone throw.

Sorry for the Seahawks, and I hope they get another shot, but very nice way for Bettis to end his career. On the night, the better coach won it.
