Done a few of these experience days - never had any problems in terms of being held back. If anything I was encouraged to keep the revs up to get as much from the cars as possible!

I would go lambo myself

With dual-controls?

If not, I fail to see how they can stop me planting my hoof.

some have dual controls yes

others have a kill switch if you disobey them. If they say "slow down" and you ignore. they just kill the ignition and throw you off the day. Ive heard of others being limited to 3500rpm etc.. as well.

Gallardo. I think for a supercar, the Lambo's have more appeal - there's just something that bit more "mad" about them, Ferrari's just dont seem to grab me, not the modern ones anyway.

360 or gallardo!

ive done a 348 and 355 it was just a trundle up and down a straight line laid out with cones:/

if your going to trundle - you might as well do it in an exotic that sounds good...that excludes the audi and db9 for me, as they are too plush and soundproofed!

These days seem like a massive waste of cash to me, you basically pay to sit in the car.... Everything you do on track you could do equally well in a 1.8 Mondeo.

However out of that list i'd go for the Gallardo.

It'd probably be the gallardo. The 360 is by all reports a better car to drive, but as you're not going to really get to do anything interesting anyway, it's not going to make that much difference.

Depends where it is being held at. I went to Silverstone and the 360 was the only car they held back on, they also made me change up well before the limiter.

Personally if you want to give it the beans and have some serious fun i'd go for the R8.

Gallardo.

The 360 will just feel old, and the DB9 will be a bit boring on a track. The R8 will be a hoot but not as good fun as a Gallardo.

I originally was doing a 360 one with drivers dream days. Changed it and did a double Porsche one, 997 C2 and 996 Turbo. Both were tiptronic, pretty free reign on the day. First thing the guy made me do was stick my foot down, and from then on was driving fast, there were markers for apex's and turn in points and stuff so all made relatively think free to just have fun.

The mile long straight had a chicane in the middle, but on your last laps if you had listened to him you go down the mile straight I did 140mph+ in both cars.

Was good fun but I wouldn't pay for one, money value isn't great, mine was a gift.
