I'm sure i remember reading that at some point although i can't remember which one, it's a close thing but Superman couldn't get fast enough to enter the speed force like Flash.

There have been several Supes/Flash races since the Forties - Flash generally wins. The reason usually given is that the Flash is more used to moving fast on the ground, whereas Supes is more at home flying.

Being a HUGE superman Fan we know that the Flash is faster because thats all he does and was created for.. to just run fast.
