Supermarket abuse of pricing?

seems my critique of Aldi refits is not alone V

maybe they give out gloves like the petrol station.
Unfortunately it's all to do with green credentials/cost savings. The money saved by not cooling chunks of open space is massive and that in turn helps keep costs lower.

The latter is not fun when attaching a 10ft banner in 50mph winds with hail lashing down the back of the hi viz coat.

You can’t have a banner displaying an offer which has finished.

Are you attaching or removing the banner as your comments don't add up? Its far easier to pull a banner down than put it up.

Or are you just adjusting the argument to suit your agenda?

We remove one banner and attach a new one. Usually when one offer ends and a new one starts.

And there is a rule that you MUST put up the new banner when you take an old one down?

Regardless - head office mandate does not trump H&S but it's up to the individual to bring it up to the relevant people rather than knuckling under and then bitching about it... Who's the idiot with potential injuries at that point?

Edit - "won't you think of the children" that may get wrapped up in a wayward banner :p
