Okay, my favourites used to be custard ones, or apple ones.. couldn't eat the toffee ones, far too sweet..

and to all those 'donut haters' out there... this is a 'what is your favourite' thread, not a 'why dont you like' thread, so get out of it and find your own thread you useless spammers :)

Raspberry Jam doughnut - none of this "it has a hole in the middle" or "it's got powdered sugar on it" or "it's glazed so you can't hold it without getting sticky stuff on your fingers" or "It has something other than raspberry jam inside".

EDIT: Thanks for the thread, btw, gonna go out and get some now ^_^

Supermarket Doughnuts represent just how messed up our food situation is :o
I bought 8 for 99p yesterday :o
These bad foods are just so so cheap, its no wonder so many people (especially the poor) struggle with weight.
Still, they were pretty nice...I wish I had some left

buy some from sainsbury when they are going off so cheap, the ones that you have left after a day or two, but in microwave till hot and put some ice cream with it. YUmmmmm

Krispy cremes are damn good, I love working in abingdon, the tescos there sells them, I can sit and eat 12 of them in one sitting, but my heart hurts afterwards.
I've driven to the actual store in oxford before just to get some because I was really craving them.

Apart from them, morrisons i find do the best jam donuts, really moist and doughy. Tescos and asda always have very dry own brand ones. Sainburys the jam is too sweet and chemical tasting but they do good custard wheras morrisons custard is a bit tasteless. Morrisons are best for donut quality, jam and apple. Sainsburys do good custard and toffee.
Co op donuts have too much sugar.
To sum up my view on supermarket donuts.

Salisbury's raspberry jam doughnuts, but the best by miles are the ring doughnuts from Blackpool seafront. Nothing beats a bag of still hot, freshly cooked doughnuts sitting in copious amounts of sugar. :D

The tastiest donuts I've ever eaten are from Dunkin' Donuts. I wish I could find some glazed donuts around here; nearest Krispy Kreme is 36 miles away. :(

I'm not a big fan of either granulated sugar coating or jam filling.

Doughnuts!!! Luverly stuff. The best place I've found for fresh made doughnuts is the little stall at Typhoon lagoon in Florida, absolutely delicious. As for here, jam doughnuts from Greggs and make sure you ask for the ones without sugar on them.
