Supermarket Scotch eggs

I recently started heating them up after eating them cold since basically forever. Another use for the old Air Fryer, just chuck em in and wait 5 minutes. Does make quite a bit of difference. What is everyone's scotch egg eating procedure btw? I will cut it in half, then into quarters, then fork the egg quarters first and eat them, then go after the meat quarters. On the odd occasion I will be a savage and eat one like an apple, but this is very rare. I only shop at Asda, so make do with their range, alternate between the Lincolnshire and Cumberland varieties.
I’m a very simple guy. Just cut in half and spread a nice helping of English mustard on, a dash of salt and finish off with a squirt of smooth pickle

English mustard is the definitive scotch egg experience.

A guy in the village has a business selling them, forget the name. A bit pricey but always good with a nice soft yolk.

Cut in half, remove the egg

Fill resulting orifice with HP sauce

Replace egg

Enjoy

I once was certain that Scotch eggs were the work of Satan himself but have come to appreciate them more as time progresses. I mostly eat the Sainsbury's taste the difference ones. They are a tad bland but an ends to a means. They give a nice energy boost even though they are probably made of ears, snouts and sphincters.
