Does it really help the score when set to 1:1? And overall desktop performance? How bad is bad what should I be getting? Sorry all the questions

no its not :S... just used pifast and done it in 1.73 seconds. the fastest pi calculator aavalible actually. record of 1billion is 3 hours 48 mins... working it out... i can do it in less than that time... will give it a go tonight
You've kinda missed the point of the thread mate.
SuperPi is, aswell as something to calculate Pi something people use to compare performance with each other. If everyone does it with different software its not use for a comparison.
