Wasn't sure where to post this!
I picked up a new external HD today from a high street retailer because I required some quick portable storage for something. It's a Seagate slim drive, the retailer said it was non-refundable unless faulty - not a problem I assumed because after all, it's just a plug and play external HD - wrong....this thing requires software every time I want to use it on a machine!
I can't plug it into a mac and drop files whenever I feel like it! You need to install a dashboard which is 90meg and then restart the system...what good is that for work?!
£50 down the drain as far as I'm concerned unless there's a way to break this or make it editable without software?
