Supported Frequency

A quick Q:

I'm building a new system and the mobo only states it supports DDR4 2133, my question is, does it matter if I stick 2400 RAM in? Basically its an availability issue, no DDR4 2133 16gig kits available..

Thanks both, I guess I'll either wait for the ram to become available or get a ddr3 mobo, see what happens later this week....
