Suppose its getting to that time, Budget £450

Thank you, do you think it would run my latest spec ok? Am thinking the GT might be a bit more power hungry.

Well, hard to say for certain tbh. You might be right about the 8800GT being a bit more power hungry... but I wouldn't have expected it to break the camel's back...

As an aside however, if you do go down this route, note you'll probably have to buy several molex power splitter cables, and a molex to 6 pin VGA power converter etc. (it doesn't have the typical PCI-e vid card power cable obviously common on cards nowadays) as otherwise you'll almost certainly run out of leads on the TrueBlue. Another aside, you'll possibly need some IDE to SATA converter's for your IDE hard disks - most new mobo's only have one IDE port, thus supporting 2 IDE drives max. I don't know about the Asus board you list, I expect it'll be limited as it's a relatively budget board so it'll probably have like 4 sata ports and 1 IDE port. Check Asus's website.

In the end, if you have the money, notwithstanding what I've said, getting a new PSU is a really good idea as it should more easily cope with the demands of a new motherboard etc. (eliminates the risk of the old PSU possibly giving up the ghost and taking your new kit with it... but again that said, my system seems fine... touch wood)

Right I will get the new PSU, but my final query, the motherboard do I get the P5K or the P5K-SE I don't know the difference or if they would be of use to me!

Right last post, decided to go with the P5K as i've seen it recommended, but not seen many mentions of the SE variety. Also went the 8800GT BFG as I think it has a better software bundle.

OK as I was bored I did some work for you and dug up the details of each board on Asus' website. A comparison of the 2 boards can be viewed here, with differences highlighted in red.
