Oh yeh I know this well, back with the original supcom I played a load of competitive games and learnt huge amounts. Then all my mates moaned that I was too good and wouldn't play me for a while. So I'm happy with how good I am for the meantime. I play for fun

I find soul Rippers a pain in the rear, lol. I can imagine the Scathis being useless in competative games, but ours tend to end up being fairly drawn out with various turtling, so they actually end up becoming viable end game if we aren't playing with nukes. The megalith is pretty cool, but not as good as either the Monkeylord or the Fatboy. I just love how damn big it is

The problem with the SR is cost and speed, any half-decent player would have scouted it and covered the sky in T3 ASF or strat-bombed your base before it gets finished.

All my LAN based games degenerate into DEFCON, firing 99 strategic nukes across the map and shooting down incoming ones

Yeh very true, my mates insist on 20 minute no rush though

I have to fight temptation to have 2-3 nukes ready to launch at the end of the time

All i hope with Sup Com 2 is that they drastically improve GPG or do away with it completely!!! It is so buggy its unbelivable, the most annoying issue for me is if i join or play a game gpg then crashes so I can't play another game!!! I have even reinstalled it and its still buggy as hell. Really hope it has a big improvement for sup com 2!!!

GPG was buggy, and there were connectivity issues at my mate's who had a old router, despite opening ports. But it did work over here! and you could download custom maps really easy and jump into custom games online.

I'd like to see a good ingame browser like Source engine games.
