*** Supreme Commander 2 ***

I am sure that comment was concerning multiplayer, not the campaign.

That explains a lot

The difference between the campaign and multi is such a massive gap.

You learn almost nothing about the game by playing it in campaign.

ai needs some serious work, games just to easy, survive the first few air waves and its just lols till u have enough to throw back no real challenge :(

Pretty much yeah

The Ai just seem to spam air all the time. Then land experimentals later. So they become very predicible. The only one that was a bit hair rasing was the out of control engineers bit, which was lulz

you know think i wont even bother too try it, just like CnC4.... once I start hearing bad vibes just cant be bothered especially after the 1st one and FA, if somethings good u just gotta know not too change it too much but guess some people dont listen ;)

giant steaming pile of crap on most levels one can judge it on, what chris taylor and co. need to do is release some modding tools so a 'decent' game can be made of this shambles

Okay we get the idea that you dont like it, so why do you have to post a negative comment to every positive

I completed the single player campaigns this weekend (only on normal difficulty).. it did not have the epic or wow factor of the previous two games in the series. Otherwise it is not that bad of a game.

Wow this almost feels like a thread ressurection...

Out of nowhere, there is now a SupCom 2 DLC available on Steam. Some new units, about half of which are experimental and some very minor research additions along with a bundle of maps. Priced at 10 euros (£8 ?).

Well i'm only running through the campaign and i'd bet my left nut that they aren't unlockable on that. All i can think of is... Core Contingency, Battle Tactics and Forged Alliance... while obviously twice the price as they were a real expansion, skins and a little coding to implement them is hardly worth the price. Core Contingency was a fully fledged new campaign with a load of new stuff and the same applies to Forged Alliance while Battle Tactics had an insane amount of staged battles raging from easy to insanely hard. This late after release it and the lack of effort compared to previous ones just make it seem like a random money making scheme rather than something with real effort put into it.

Whilst I agree it seems like a quick money making scheme with no effort I have still bought it. Mostly for the Monkey lord! (Ahh I loved that in FA)

And Again although SupCom2 is not a patch on FA, with the lack of current RTS releases I am atually enjoying it.

It is a shame the genre is so stagnant lately

Even altho it didnt get to kill anything (the boomerang nukes done that for me) it still stomped about menacingly.:D:D
