I just purchased the 32GB Surface 2 and need a sleeve for it as it will be going into a backpack and in the car when I travel for work.

Doesn't need to be anything fancy but has to be a snug fit and protect it from scratching. Can anyone recommend me anything good and not to pricey?

I only have the Surface 2 at the moment and no touch cover.

Prefer it if I could purchase it from a store as I leave for work on Saturday morning.

as you're going into a store, go in and decide for yourself. you don't need us to tell you what purple shirt store fits best as you can find out.

if you were buying online i'd recommend the snug case as it's perfect fit without a case, with a case it's fine but to get the magnet to hold is harder and requires a good push to make sure the device is in as far as possible.

My question still stands as I doubt they will let me go in and start pushing my surface into sleeves I've gotten out of their warehouse.

I thought maybe someone could recommend me one I could then check if its available in a local store.

go into a store and see what's on display. last time iwas in pcworld i found all cases were barely packaged so took the foam out and tested it out on the disaply ipads. i can't see you having an issue with surface cases, if you do just ask i'm sure they'll be fine.

The only store local to me with a good amount on display has no cases on as it's a Curry's and they would rather have the washing machines and white goods out.

I use a Snugg leather case for my Surface Pro 2. Would fit a Surface 2 easily. Really nice protective leather case with a magnetic flap. Got from the rainforest!

I got one of those neoprene reversible jobbies off that auction place for a fiver, try searching 10 inch tablet cover. They do stretch over snuggle and for that money, don't care if they get scuffed up ;)
