Surfing the net on your PS3

Does anyone here have real world experience of using the Sony Playstaion 3 for sufing the net ?

also would it be possible to do the following on it:

Surf the net in general

Visit these forums and be able to reply

chat using msn / yahoo ?

Visit forums: Yes
Chat via an IM program: No (unless you install another OS on the PS3)

Guy I have on my MSN put Linux on his PS3 and then MSN, probably the only way right now.

I've found surfing the net on the PS3 surprisingly good.
Far better than I was expecting.

Surfing the net in general is great. Even sites like Youtube work, so you can watch people making prats of themselves from the comfort of your own sofa, and watch it on the TV.

Only one or two sites I've found that didn't work so far...one of which was motogp.com yesterday... it started to load, and came up with an out of memory error.

As for chat, I've no idea about MSN/Yahoo. I did try to load the web ICQ on it, but it didn't work.
