Being taken to the seaside with my siblings, by my parents when I was 10, who would have been 7, 6, and 4.

To be told we were going to Disneyland Florida!

I can't think of any for me either

. Sure, there have been presents at christmas etc that I've not expected, but I wouldn't count them as lifetime suprise events. No-one has ever given me a big(ish) surprise. The best surprises have been brought on myself - getting amazing grades delivered in the post/email or having that "you got the job!" call.
