On a more thread related note, I bought Rust and Empyrion - Empyrion looks promising and Rust is OK on a dedicated server but there doesn't seem to be much in the way of AI bad guys so far!

Try Scum. Map is so massive that pvp is not too regular and you can go for over servers too if you fancy.
