Got my car back from the service and the garage wrote on the comments section of my service sheet that "both top suspension mounts roll flip in operation." What does this mean? :(

Best you get a description from the garage about that one, been doing suspension about 5 years and never heard of that before. :confused:
 
Never heard of that one either. The top mounts are doing something, but I'm not sure roll flipping is it :D
 
top mounts are what your suspension bolts into (you can see them on top of either wing under the bonnet).

They can't roll or flip though.
 
Could simply be scamming you to get some work with baffling technical names that actually mean sweet FA of course :D
 
Yes basically they grind when you turn the wheel, (bearings usually rusted up so it tries to turn on the spring perch instead)
 
It's the H that throws most people, that one he's accentuated the "hook" before bringing the pen down for the right hand vertical line of the H
