Yes, there were some very nice beaches just outside of Swansea - a night out in Newport on the other hand gave me PTSD.

swansea's not as bad as people here make you believe, there's not much going for it as it's now mostly built up around alcohol and customer support there's no IT work there.

Short stays it's good for night life.

as I'm from swansea and lived there until 5 years ago, I would say if you're a business man, it's good opportunity as there's little competition there. as a human, don't move.

lol its no london but i'm glad of that! Like everywhere, there are good and bad parts but its great to drive 20-30mins and be on a lush beach down the Gower. To the Port Toilet dwellers, the worst part of living in Swansea is having to look across the beautiful bay and see your stinking cess pit!
