Definitely livable. My s2000 has never caused me a problem.

Yeh the boot in the Z4 is a good size, I could get food shopping for a family of 5 in my old 3.0i, the new Z4M loses about 1 bags worth of space thanks to the battery's position.

The 100 more hp in the Z4M is noticeable over my old Z4, but the old one wasn't what I would call slow.

That Z4M certainly looks a classy machine (maybe to classy for me!) I will definitely give one a go. I suppose you can't read up about that personal feel

A TVR.. Yeah this needs to be reliable. As it will be a going to work and back car.

the only thing that i could think of that hasn't been mentioned is a 350z, but im not sure it looks much newer than an s2000 and a 370 is over budget. The trouble is the sports car market went a bit soft in the 2000's

Ford mustang as an oddball idea? LHD so not the most practical.

I would only really take the Porsche or TVR over the s2000 tbf.
