swapping a gtx 660 with another 660. problem

i have an evga 660 and got a msi twin frozer 660 to go with it.

i swapped the evga with the msi to test it before going into sli.

when the msi is isntalled im getting no signal to the monitor.

i put the evga back in and its back on.

i have tried a cmos reset but didnt work.

any thaughts?

So the new card, the MSI has no monitor signal?

This is the first time you have tried it?

i'd say its kerfuied, RMA.
 
Aye just straight dvi. Tried top and bottom ports. Completely black screen. U know flashing standby light.

I've probibly shocked or something while playing about with it.
 
ok, so just in from work and thaught will give it a try,

bumped the bios from f9 to f16 and stuck the card in.

its working without a problem.

weird one that.
 
Glad you got it sorted :) How did you flash the BIOS if you had no signal?

Sorry my bad, you flashed the mobo BIOS.
