Swapping HD

Can it be done moving an OS to another HD, IE moving C: to D: Thanks.

Depends what you mean, and what OS.

If you're after cloning the contents of your current system disk onto another disk to replace the current disk, then yes you can. Acronis TrueImage and Norton Ghost are both well known for this, and there are freeware tools that will do it too.

My W7 HD has started being ify, normally I back things up and do a reinstall, but loosing my OS is not planned for.
