Hi, so basically in my PC at the moment I have a 250gb Samsung SSD for Windows 10 and a few games, I also have a 1tb 5200rpm HDD for storing the rest of my games and other files etc but I think it's time for an upgrade as 5200rpm is very slow compared to my SSD obviously. I was thinking of buying another SSD and swapping it out for the HDD, is it as simple as taking the HDD out and plugging the power and sata cable that were in the HDD in to the new SSD or is there something else I need to do?

Thanks!

that's all you need to do, once in windows you will need to use disk manager to create a partition and then assign it a drive letter.

when you installed 10 on your ssd did you have your HDD connected as well? as when you remove this if the installer stuck files on the HDD it may not boot
