I have the Silverstone Strider Gold Evolution 850w PSU and as most of my system is Corsair would I be stupid/totally over the top anul to swap it out for a Corsair AX860i Digital ATX '80 Plus Platinum' ?

Thoughts ?

You mean purely because it's Corsair? Of course that's stupid. Then again, I just bought a new 780 because the green LED on the reference cooler didn't match the shade of green of my case LEDs and braided cables. So maybe I shouldn't judge.

Thankfully I dont have OCD :p

I believe that the digital versions are not favoured as much as the non digital versions when overclocking - I seem to remember 8 Pack posting something about it.

Yes you would be stupid to change something that was working fine - spend the cash on something else like an SSD or put it towards a new / second GPU.
