In the US 20% of woman have experienced Rape at college ( as in they were actually raped ) during the course of their lifetime.

This didn't take into account the ones that experienced attempted rape - which was even more again.

So I'm sure the figure is similar for the UK and most of the "West"

Quite shocking when you look at it like that.

How does 53.2 rapes per 100,000 equate to 1 in 4 women will be raped in their lifetime? Genuine question as I'm interested in the maths.

Those links do seem to have an agenda though !
 
Sweden is a pacifist nation, a peaceful one at that.

Not surprising that immigrants who find it culturally acceptable to treat women like dog meat are flocking there.

But now we are liberal, free, and rather hippy Europe, absolutely nothing will get done until a new Hitler rises or those with influence and power are directly effected.

That's what we are all counting on really. For when the flames of torches are lit beyond the castle doors.

These are not democracies, they are old pal clubs for the rich to fleece and we are their servants.

Grabbing a woman by her arm because she is being a drunk bitch and spitting at passers by could be accounted for as "attempted rape" nowadays.

It was 53 rapes per 100,000 in one year. 1 in 4 women will be raped in their lifetime - assuming that a woman claims she was raped say 600 times over 15 years.

The article is complete nonsense!

53.2 per 100,000 does not equal 1 in 4 and if anyone believes that they should go back to elementary school to learn some basic arithmetic .

Over the course of a typical life expectancy of 80 years that's 4,240 rapes per 100,000. Remove 50,000 males from that population and you have 4,240 in 50,000.

50,000/4,240 = not 4?

Also, that doesn't take into account multiple rapes of the same person as I noted above.
