Sweet beers like Hoegaarden?

I couldn't find out if it actually was, so assumed the white/wheat thing was similar to Blonde aspect,

Na, Blonde and Wheat beers are pretty different. Wheat beers are made (surprise surprise) with a lot of wheat. Leffe isn't (at least, it doesn't taste like it to my palate). Plus, the clone recipes I've seen in the past don't call for wheat.

That being said, it's an awesome beer. :D
 
Morrison's is a good place to shop for wheat beer. At least the one I go to is.

Usually have Paulaner, Weihenstephaner, Erdinger and Franziskaner.

I prefer straight up clear Bavarian beer myself, but I'll do the odd wheat beer every now and again.

Anyone ever have the pleasure or trying Tesco's own brand wheatbeer? haven't seen it on the shelves for about 5 years, and it was a really good one very tastey.

Now when I have a beer it's normally Erdinger. All bar one in Covent garden do a really good one on tap as well but can't remeber what it's called.
