Replace any potato you eat with sweet potato, it should calm your sweet cravings.
I have a MASSIVE sweet tooth, at least one bar of chocolate a day. At the moment I don't have access to a kitchen for the next few weeks so it's hard for me to prep the sweet potato, but when I do eat it - I don't feel to eat as much chocolate
I have found thing like plums and peaches good.
Id even say a little bit of Honey wont hurt too much since 20 grams of it wont have you putting on much weight at all
And if you can get hold of them try get some chocolate beans or nibs. Its like eating dark chocolate in bean form since it hasnt been refined yet
Or maybe, get a friend to punch you in the gut every time you eat something sweet, that way you will associate eating sweet things with getting punched in the gut and will no longer want to eat sweet things. Unless of course you are a sadist that enjoys that kind of stuff...
Do some home baking. I've always got some home-made flapjacks or brownies in a tub to have after a meal. Muffins are good as well, and all easy to make.
I never really get sweet cravings but Dark, high cocoa mass chocolate is delectable, the good stuff is more bitter than sweet though. Lindt now do a 99% cacao bar.
A big mammoth size bowl of pic n mix. Literally will go to any length to get this when I have one of my serious cravings.
Aside from that, I'll easily demolish a family sized pack of anything or annihilate a whole tub of ice cream - Haagan Daaz Pralines & Cream or Ben & Jerries Chunky Monkey usually does the trick.
I made a fruit salad tonight, Raspberries, Pear, Pinapple, Melon and Grape. Added in a nice amount of no fat greek yoghurt, and a quater of a tub of honey greek yoghurt.
If I'm "being healthy" then probably fruit (apple or banana generally) or a yoghurt.
I figure if I eat healthily in other areas, I can allow myself some good quality chocolate though. Tends to be Green & Blacks like the guys in here, but I confess to preferring milk over the dark. I can do the 70% dark at a push though, but anything over that tastes awful. The 90%+ is pretty much uneatable.
