trying to change my address on swiftcover, I pay monthly and have one instalments left 12 month policy 10 payments.

It says extra premium is £6.75. But then makes my last payment £120. Which i assume they must be doing £6.75 x 12 + my usual month payment. Which seems to work out to the price they have to within a few pence.

Surly that is BS. as I'm only changing address for the last 3 months. and surly when it says change of premium that's to the total premium. Which is then split into months.
Any idea what is going on, and can I actually phone them, I can't seem to find phone numbers. I know they say they are online, but surly there must be a way to talk to someone.

insurance companies rob you blind not only do they charge you to move house they charge you to change any little detail regardless of the fact it might make your policy cheaper

Well of course they are going to charge you if you move house - unless you are moving within the same postcode.
I fully expect that once the OP has contacted them they will only be charging him for the remaining months at his new address - they wont retrospect charge him for an address he didn't live at.

As for charging to change insurance details - should check the small print before agreeing.
I have an MMA policy through Swinton and I've made two changes to my policy over the last year and have not been charged for either.
