Swiftech Apogee Vs. Alphacool NexXxos XP?

Aquaextreme MP-05 Pro limited edition blocks are excellent. That's what i am using and it looks good too.

For graphics cards don't forget the Aquaextreme MP-1's. They aer on a par with the DD maze 4 and the MCW60. Dirt cheap too.

Gashman. what rad are you thinking of getting ?

was looking at alphacool nexXxos extreme III 120.3 with three either vantec stealth 120mm fans or three akasa blue LED 120mm fans (not sure about noise levesl, claims 21db anyone verify this)

Edit: also very interested in the aerocool streamliner 140mm fans :) but case still needs to looks asthetic, and the case has blue everything, so i need a way to mount three 140mm fans onto a radiator designed to hold three 120mm, ideas?

cause i want to watercool just about every componant barring hard disks and PSU (RAM will be including after time using koolance parts) so i'll need a hefty pump, something with hefty flowrate and quiet, the whole idea is better overclocks and quiet operation :) i haven't got my mind set on anything so any input on blocks, pumps and radiators is welcome :)

Kits are usually made up of cheaper lower perfoming components and it is usually better to go with custom parts - this can also work out cheaper funnily enough. The alphacool kits don't use the best pumps they have and they sometimes substitute the nexxos block with the alcetel top rather than the solid one. All cuts down on price per package but as you are buying a package you are also paying packing prices so the money saed on components is lost on the 'package' price. Do your research and buy the best components you can afford - i.e you wouldn't buy a denon amp to power ALBA speakers ;)

RAD - Thermochill
Pump - DDC+ with alphacool top or D5
Block - Nexxos for price - Storm for performance (allegedly)
Res - optional
Chipset - MCW 30/maze
GPU - Maze4/mcw60
Tubing - 7/16masterkleer or 1/2 tygon, I prefer 7/16, easier to route.
Water - distilled or dionised
Additives - I use none - never had a problem tbh, no algae, no corrosion. I have used zerex in the past but didn't like the staining or pink colour.

Hope that helps.
