Wonder if OcUK will be stocking this the 220 version is due out Late August..

"Lakewood, CA – Monday August 7th, 2007, 9:00 AM Pacific Standard Time - Rouchon Industries, Inc. dba Swiftech® today announced the release of the revolutionary H20-120 Compact liquid cooling kit. The kit is composed of only two elements, each representing major innovations in the liquid cooling industry: a patent pending self-powered CPU waterblock, the recently released Apogee™ Drive 350, which combines pump and water-block into a single unit, and a new 120mm radiator featuring an integrated reservoir. Conventional liquid cooling systems are composed of four components: a waterblock, a pump, a heat exchanger, and a reservoir. With a two components system installation is substantially simplified, reliability is improved, cost is reduced and the company expects this new product to enable numerous PC builders, OEM’s and end users to access the benefits of high-performance liquid cooling. “The H20-120 Compact is the first of a new generation of liquid cooling solutions that brings true enthusiast performance to the industrial level; further declinations of the kit should also be available soon, starting with a dual radiator version expected by the end of August” said Gabriel Rouchon Swiftech's Chairman & CTA. The product is being shipped to the distribution channels now." ~swiftech.com

I'd consider this depending on price I want something hassle free and easy this looks very good :) may wait for the dual rad version later this month. :)

This is basically what Coolermaster tried to launch some time ago with the R80/R120 series. There are a couple of issues with this sort of system;

1. The pump is right above the CPU so you have the two of the hottest components in the PC located right next to each other.

2. If the pump dies, you need a new waterblock.

From previous experience - It's probably not that much better than good air cooling, but I'll wait and see.

Oooh I like that! Would be great for mATX setups with limited space for pumps and reservoirs etc now all we need is for Gibbo to stock em :D

The systems best thermal resistance is 0.154 C/W

Thats about the same as mid-top range air cooling. That doesn't tally with an extra 27C delta over a Scythe Infinity, somethings not right in the VR-Zone review. There having a laugh showing that with a dual-core/dual-card, a 120 rad would be doing well to dissipate 160W, let alone the heat load from that lot.
