Hi guys, looking at this pump to go with an XSPC Dual bay res, but just making sure that the pump is a variant of a Laing DDC? Cheers guys :)

Again? Was it doing it before then? (Presumably it must've been).
I replaced mine as it was making a noise. It didn't sound like a worrying noise, it was just annoying.

I replaced it with a Swiftech MCP35X pump in an XSPC dual bay res (for ONE Laing DDC Pump). And that makes a noise too! (I think it's largely vibration being amplified through the case).

Is it a new MCP350? I thought I read somewhere that more recent pumps were wired different. But to be honest the 18w pumps don't seem to be more more expensive than the 10w ones, so I didn't look into it too much and may be completely wrong.

Hi GoogalyMoogaly, both my XSPC 750 Res-Combo + MCP35X isolated from the case, made my own foam set up for the XSPC and just using the foam pad that come with the MCP35X. If you can try to shield the pump + res from the case even in the bays try 10mm wide one sided sticky foam, just a thought. If you are using a bracket to mount your pump put the foam in-between the case and the bracket faces so it soaks up some of the vibration.
