Ok guys I have a bit of a problem I hope you can help resolve. In the picture below I show the reservoir without its mounting bracket:

The pump is mounted in a 5.25 bay and the 120.2 radiator is in the bottom of the case. Once the mounting bracket is on the first bit of tubing to the top of the pump kinks as it nearly hits the side of the case. Try as I may I just can't seem to find anywhere to mount the reservoir.

Does the reservoir need to be above the height of the pump or is that preferable?

Any help on positioning the reservoir will be appreciated as I'm close to making the final assembly now.

The case is a Lain-Li V200B Plus II:

Hey up,

It is preferable, I have just gotten rid of my MCRES as it was just annoying me lol

Fitting a dd dual 5 1/4" bay res, looks better and not in the way then.
 
Have you thought about mouting the pump so the outlet is pointing down through the case towards your rad so that theinlet on the top is parralel with the shelf, so then you would be mounting the pump via two anti vibration screws instead of 4 to allow it to hang down, sorry if that seems confusing it was the best way i could describe it!
 
have you got the res sorted out i only ask as am getting the same res and i have a lian li v2000+ as well :)
 
I think so.I'm going to attach some tubing tomorrow and I'll take some pictures and put them up. At the moment the reservoir is going where I originally intended it. I may have to use some anti-kink coils which should be here on Tuesday.
